I have tried to live my life a day at a time ever since I remember. I believe that while it’s good to have our dreams and goals in perspective, it is also important to keep in mind that anything can happen and change the course of our life; putting those goals or dreams on hold. I’ve been a mother, a wife, a daughter, a student, and a part-time employee for the last 4 and a half years. It hasn’t been easy. The Manifesto has kept me focus. It has helped me realize that everything has a purpose and it is my job to find that purpose. When I come across a difficult situation, I read the Manifesto. It sounds like something a mother would say (I know I will say this to my kids when they get to grow up and experience the joys of life). The Manifesto somehow picks me up making me tougher when I need it the most.
