Oh the Rebellion
I never remember acting that way
Well, come to think of it ...
Oh my ... did I?
Everything I say is wrong
And she seems to want to do the opposite
Has a strong opinion about everything
Which would be okay, but ... oh my.
I'm here to teach and guide
To be an example
Oh but she doesn't understand
All I want is to show her the way
But I do remember thinking once upon a time
"I know it all...I know better"
What was I thinking? Oh my!
I am still learning to this day...everyday
And so I guess this Rebellion
Is normal and hopefully we will survive
One can only hope
And one day she might say "What was I thinking?"
